"007"...as he wrote on the palm of Meredith...I still get shivers up my spine to think of how it all played out. Now I know that some people do not get to know the characters or will say that "it is only a show". I am the opposite. I feel like some of the characters on these television shows are so real that they convince me that their lives and personalities are real. Plus the simple fact is that I am sometimes overly empathetic and a complete sap.
So the Kleenex is ready, the wine is room temperature and I gather with a group for friends to watch the season opener of Grey's Anatomy. Soon the face book & twitter updates will begin lighting up with reviews and hopefully excitement.
Hopefully there will be less tears than in the season finale, but it will still be as riveting and shocking. I think the finale will be a hard one to top. If you have spoilers I don't want to see or hear them, don't send them to me or make comments with them. I want to watch the show as it happens! But I would love to hear if you watched with friends and what you thought of it.
Share with me how you felt about the season premier & how you watched with friends, and have a chance to win! All you have to do is post a comment on this story on my blog. I will do a random draw for $25 Gift Certificate! Closing is at midnight Friday night the 25th!
**Update: Winner has been randomly chosen - Congratulations goes to Lori MacFarlane of Nova Scotia! Enjoy your gift certificate Lori and thanks so much for following the blog!

Did you say it? I love you. I don't want to live without you. You changed my life. Did you say it? Make a plan, set a goal, work toward it. But every now and then look around. Drink it in.
Cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow.
The very best thing about football season besides the obvious, is that Sunday's are always with friends and/or family. It is a guarantee that the gathering will start around noon and last until well into the evening. Everyone has their own team, and cheers for them, jerseys are worn, and the odd trash talk is spoken. Pools are checked and rechecked while the smell of supper is cooking and the cool fall weather creeps in.

Football season is the funnest season of the year. I love it, and even though my Chiefs are 0-2, I will continue to support and cheer for them cause I am just that kinda girl! At least no one can ever accuse me of being a bandwagon jumper!!
I haven't eaten peas since 1983, when I worked at at Pea processing plant. Your green peas are pretty on the red table, though. Just saying.
(09.22.09)These turned out great!

Yes, I may be on a kick after seeing what happened to a well known photographer that I love and follow. Sarah Quiara is a photographer out of Texas. Sarah was called today to be informed that her images were being used on a website as another photographer's who names herself Vintage Rubies Photography out of Los Angelas. Being always worried about this happening to my images, I felt her pain. Someone actually went out of her way, stole Sarah's images and claims them as her own. The very worst part about this is that the bulk of the images that she stole were of Sarah's daughter. This made me irate.
Not only did the photographer steal Sarah's but it is now coming to the surface that a few other photographers were affected as well and a list of sites that they were on is more than just the one.
To me...if I didn't take the image, there would be no glory in showing it off as my own or acting as if it were my own. I also feel bad for the clients who expected to get the work done by Sarah Q and ended up with a thief's work instead.
Please do not steal others work, in any industry especially photography where our images are our eye to the soul. Please do not post on profiles and website without mentioning the photographer on every single image. Photographers see things differently than others, and work very hard to create these special images.
Show her some love and support and follow her on twitter at http://twitter.com/SarahQ
"When a thief kisses you, count your teeth"...just a funny little quote!!!
(09.18.09)What goes around comes around-take care Sarah :-)
(09.18.09)This is horrible-thanks for sharing this information.
(09.18.09)Oh that is horrible. Sarah Q has a amazing work! Hope everything gets worked out for her.

This sweet family means so much to me, not just because they are my family. My brother is one of my best friends, his wife being another. Those two girls are the world to me. I mean the whole wide world. Madison & Meleah, I am sure I wouldn't be able to love my own children more than I love you two girls. We have lots of stories and memories already, and I am sure the new house will have no exception for more, and I look forward to it! I am extremely happy for them all, to be able to say "we are going home"... and that home is their own.
I am excited to share in the fun today. In fact, I came home a day early from Toronto to be a part of it. I wouldn't miss it!

So Congratulations Adam, Kelly, Madison & Meleah (and of course Jackson 'ole boy & Tucker Wucker Woo Woo). I am glad that your dreams have come true. Leave some Congratulatory love in the comments!
I really missed you posts while you were gone. I think I am really addicted to looking at your pictures!
(09.13.09)Congrats Adam and family! Your new home is beautiful!
(09.14.09)Congrats on the new house it looks Beautiful!! Love the jumping off the steps Pic....great Job Rachel!
(09.14.09)Tucker Wucker Woo Woo looks "almost" like a super-model but the best poser is Jackson 'ole boy in the first shot....he's acting totally uninterested in the moment and appears to be checking out the cat next door! no doubt, it was molly shannon!

Anyways, it is odd how the weather controls our moods and eating and everything. I noticed that this past weekend it seemed suppers were being made indoors, Chinese restaurant was busy, movies were being watched. Are we all going into winter mode already?
I was so busy this past summer that I had no time for much socializing. It was so exciting and such a rush to have so much creatively going on! Let's keep it going!! Let's not let the weather control us!!!

Great "boot" shot!

If anyone wants to know how it feels to be given new hope...to be given life again...conflicted, aimless, and deep. What do you do on borrowed time...you live.
Just watch Izzy...I am Izzy...ten years post treatment...
It was deep without being contrived, it was poignant without being over the top...
Love the writing...love the intensity...they keep it real.
(09.25.09)I know...from experience.
I hope you enjolyed it as much as I...
Live, love, laugh!
I thought the season premiere started strong...kinda fizzled but who cares? it was 2 hrs of new entertainment. i still can't believe there will be no george! izzie is as hot as ever....and meredith looked great but i always get emotional when she cries! hopefully they will disinfect the kitchen counter!!
(09.25.09)I watched the season opener, It was pretty good. There was a lot of emotion that the characters play very well. There really weren't any surprises though. It was your typical Greys show. Which of course I love! I do hope they concentrate more on Izzy and her relationship, because I am over the whole Meredith and Derek thing. Overall thoughts: It was a good season opener, hopefully bigger and better to come!
(09.25.09)I started watching with my little family of four. It started ok but then got stupid around half way through so I went to bed.
(09.25.09)oh, and btw, yes, i've said it. i always try to "say it".
(09.25.09)I thought that Grey's was good, but I am gonna miss George. I guess I didn't realize how much I liked that character until it was too late. I like that Meredith and Derek are acting like newlyweds because it makes them actually seem a bit like a normal couple which they haven't don't anything normal so that is nice for a change.
(09.25.09)I adore Callie...do you think her and McSteamy will continue to hook up now that Little Grey is living with him?? Please say YES!!
(09.25.09)I thought the show was a bit of a let down compared to the finale. Then again, what could top that finale?
(09.25.09)I love your blog but not Grey's anatomy. After reading this I downloaded last season and am going to watch. Will get back to you!
(09.25.09)How can you make a box of tissue look this great? And did you cry and use the whole box last night? I thought the season opener was ok but lacked something.
(09.25.09)What was with all the laughing at the funeral, that was dumb. I liked the rest of the show though.
(09.25.09)I hope to see Karev (sp) fall deeply in love with Izzy and show her that he is.
(09.25.09)MacSteamy, MacDreamy...they are all hot...oh wait we were reviewing the show not the actors. Show was ok, I LOVED the finale.
(09.25.09)Love your photography, but Grey's Anatomy isn't my thing. My wife loves it though, and she seemed happy last night.
(09.25.09)So glad Izzy lives. I love her character.
(09.25.09)I was so excited to watch last night, I thought the laughing was a bit weird too but it kinda shows how they all hold in their feeling so much that the wrong ones come out at times. I bawled when Izzy told the girl who George saved to go live.
(09.25.09)Callie is so great in that show and I hope that she stays with Arizona forever. They are so perfect together. I could see how Little Grey would be worried though.
(09.25.09)I love this show. Had a girls night last night to celebrate its return. It is much more fun watching it with others.
(09.25.09)Best show...it is the only one I watch.
(09.25.09)I missed McDreamy...glad he is back!
