Since I'm in grade nine this year we get to take part in "International Take Your Child To Work Day" and explore different work environments. I decided to come with my aunt Rachel to see how she run's her Photography business. I was lucky as I heard she had a few requests to join her today. I've always had an interest in creative jobs like photography, graphic design, and art in general. So I took this as an opportunity to learn about it.
As the year's been going we've had to think more seriously about our future career path. We've done activities in things like animation, digital photography, and video editing. I don't exactly know what will be in my future but I know it won't involve writing, haha.
As we are working on an Empower The Dress album, listening to Taylor Swift, and drinking our Starbucks I see the positive freedom of running your own business. It's noon and we've already booked two trips, have had no set schedule, read a few jokes, and talked non-stop.

Rockabilly is one of the earliest styles of rock and roll music, and emerged in the early 1950s.
The term rockabilly is a portmanteau of rock (from rock 'n' roll) and hillbilly, the latter a reference to the country music (often called hillbilly music in the 1940s and 1950s) that contributed strongly to the style's development. Other important influences on rockabilly include western swing, boogie woogie, and rhythm and blues. While there are notable exceptions, its origins lie primarily in the Southern United States.
The influence and popularity of the style waned in the 1960s, but
during the late 1970s and early 1980s, rockabilly enjoyed a major
revival of popularity that has endured to the present, often within a
rockabilly subculture.
Vicki & Don may have even convinced me to go to Vegas for the millionth time to check out the Rockabilly Party this coming Spring. I would not fun or take any pictures I am sure!!!

This was coming to the end of our beautiful light when we snapped these. The light was something out of the heavens this night. PEI late summer light is so magical, so warm and soft! I love it!
I am glad we go to capture some pics with these sisters as this was important to both of them, and I can understand why. I am about to get sentimental, but here are top 5 reasons to love your sister.
1 - can read you reactions, face, & looks like a preschool book
2 - loyal, trustworthy
3 - family cannot be traded, upgraded, or outdated
4 - laugh over anything including something as simple as inside joke with the word "hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"
5 - you will never find another friend like a sister, mine will always be my BFF (XO)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii LOL. That is a good one. This session was beautiful from start to finish! :)

After we took some amazing shots of Rachel & Jeremy with Rachel's horses (click here to see Part 1) we packed up and away we went. The light was too much, I couldn't handle stopping at that point and was excited we had planned a trip to a close by beach!
Then we decided to head to the beach, where Jeremy and Rachel were so ready to go right into the water. This session was taken a few days after Olde Home Week had ended, and you know what that means! Fall is here on Prince Edward Island. This didn't bother this couple in the least. In the sand, or in the water, they were having fun.
Buttery golden sunlight makes me happy! :) Oh can we go back to the summer.
