Nope, Jenny is a mother of 2, and now wife to Tyler. Jenny spends her time at the Teen Zone helping youth right now until baby number 3 is born, which will be soon!
I can see why Tyler and Jenny are a match made in heaven. I see it every time they look at each other. I saw it when Tyler looked at Jenny when she walked through the park to meet him to get married. It was like a dream was coming true. I see it when they are always posting on each others walls on facebook. They are one cute couple!

I was telling them all about Leonard's amazing, did I say AMAZING Florentine cookies and how they must try one! Of course Lindsey knew all about them. They are the most delicious mix of sweet and salty, with a mixture of Sliced almonds, honey & chocolate. um yummmmy!
I love the story of Leonhard's. Alexandra and Axel came to Canada from Germany to learn to speak much better English. The German couple has been caught in an amazing whirlwind of change since Alex, as most people call her now, came to Prince Edward Island in 2007 for a short visit to improve her English speaking skills.
Since then, the two have moved from their home country Germany to Charlottetown and have become a fixture at the local farmers market and have even opened a cafe and bakery in the downtown core. They opened on November 24th [2008] and have been loving it since that time. The Leonhard's have filed for permanent residency and hope to make PEI their home. "If we were to fly to Germany today, I would get homesick for PEI.," Alex says. "We'd be looking forward to seeing friends and family but I couldn't imagine staying longer than a few weeks."
I promise you that a visit to this beautiful little cafe will be a good one. The atmosphere along with the charm of Alexandra & Axel will leave you thinking about your return or maybe buying something else for the road!
Yum yum YUM. Now I need to get there again soon! Everything is so yummy!

I know everyone here calls me the "Ice Princess" cause I do love to have my living quarters colder than most, and I sleep with no blankets. If you ever enter my home it is usually colder than outside and it can be referred to as the "Ice Castle". I feel like if it gets to warm, I get sleepy!
Sometimes when I am doing shoots outdoors in the cold, wearing a sweater, and no jacket, and my clients are all bundled up, I forget. I forget that other humans get cold. Soooo during this Love Session with Lindsey & Nick, we decided to stop into Leonard's for some hot chocolate, coffee and warmth. The owners of Leonard's (who will be blogged next) were more than gracious to let us warm up. They were very welcoming and for this we thank them!
Lindsey & Nick were fun to work with, and kept telling me that they weren't cold. I could tell that they might be considering it was -1 million and cheeks and noses were getting red. They both just went along with my foolishness and followed my lead. I hope Nick gets a long well in his new job & Lindsey doesn't miss him too much while he is gone.
Brrrr I don't know how you do it. You barely wear a coat! These are sweet and I now have a craving for hot chocolate and yummy cookies!

Autumn is my favorite season ever. I love it. Everything about it is awesome. The air even smells better. So clean, So fresh and new. Chelsey & Denis choose to get married close to the end of this beautiful season. It rained on and off during the day, but every single time it stopped, we went outside and got what photos we needed, and they had a backup plan if we needed it.
Chelsey's gown was amazing, in a beautiful champagne color. I loved it. It suited her perfectly. Chelsey and Denis were ready for anything I threw at them. I love that.
Remember this was the couple that I gave them lemons on their engagement session. They just laughed and went on with the shoot. If life gives your lemons make lemonade.
Oh I love lemonade!!! (lemonade? YESSSS pleasssse).
I think it was the same philosophy on the day of their wedding. If mother nature gives you rain, use that for photos somehow or find somewhere to do photos until I stop! They were not bothered by the rain or anything else that day! What a fun and beautiful group of friends and family this was and what else would yo want to be doing than photographing a group like this when it is raining out?
Yes, I love autumn too. Oh boy this was a funny wedding! Such a great group. :)

Ok first let's give you a little background on Jodi & Dav-o (pretty sure his name is Dave, but Jodi calls him Dav-o, and now I do too!).
I met Jodi when we were matched up to room together in Las Vegas last year for a conference. I had booked a room for myself and at the last minute I was going solo. I mentioned to some cool photography friends I know in Ontario that I was gonna be by myself and was checking to see if anyone needed a roommate. They were all booked and had the rooms set and full. Sooooo I just left it to fate to help me out. At the last minute, little Jodi Klassen appeared from Winnipeg reaching out to the same cool photography friends in Ontario. Jodi was now also looking for a roommate. It seemed like we were meant to room together. Soooo we became roommates and fast friends!
Jodi has her own photography business in Winnipeg photographing weddings, families, and babies. Jodi is the type of soul that will turn her self inside out to help someone if need be. I am very happy that the universe has brought her to me and that my cool Ontario girls shared her with me! Dav-o is totally in love with Jodi; I can see the love and respect when he looks at her. I asked them a million questions about how they met and love; i wanted to hear everything. I cannot wait to be in love and have fun with each other just like these two!
In October of this year, Jodi and Dav-o were coming to PEI to explore my beautiful island. I decided they would stay at my place on their visit and would not take no for an answer. Since it was fall and such a gorgeous day we did our shoot on one of their last days here. So suited up with our outfits we had purchased the day before at Value Village, away we go!
