Ok so tonight on my little photography tour, I am at Krista Jefferson's home in the country. I mean the country. Like really, the country. Krista lives on a gravel road, where everyone knows your name. Krista is a well known, amazingly creative, and awesome photographer. As we walked down the gravel road, Krista answered our questions, and I always have we all of them. It is always fun to get together with other photographers and shoot and see what comes out. Everyone's shoot the same object and the end results are all different.

We walked up the gravel road, and came across an amazing site. No it was not the beautiful Krista sitting on the fence, although that was a site to behold. We walked and we came across fireflies. I couldn't believe my eyes. They were beautiful, so very magical. They lit up the road, the sides of the road and the fields. Kathryn, one of the photographers, caught one in her hand for me to see up close. We all gathered around to take a closer look. THEN - we sat down in the middle of the gravel road and just looked at them. We really just looked at the fireflies, and took the surrounding it all in. It was one of those moments when you just say, is this real? Am I really doing this right now? Am I really in small town Ontario with 3 amazing photographers and so happy to be doing it?

Nataschia and I did quite a bit of touring around the Niagara area yesterday. We talked business a lot and she showed me a lot of the regular shooting areas around Niagara, and some local venues, and venders. One such vendor is Vintage Design Co in the Niagara area. Vintage Design is owned and operated by Jennifer Elliotson. Jennifer is amazing and was a pleasure to have met. When we entered the work area it smelled divine! Of course on a Friday things were in full motion, with many weddings to work towards covering this weekend.

Vintage Design has been published in many well know wedding magazines such as Wedding Bells, Niagara Weddings & WedLuxe. Their work really speaks for itself with attention to detail and with a love for what they do. Having a passion for your career really makes a difference in the quality of work that many of us adhere to.

My time with Nataschia is over, and so I sit in the parlor at Krista's house. Tomorrow their is going to be a BBQ gathering with many of the areas local photographers. I cannot wait to meet everyone!

**Hey Everyone! It's Rachel Peters from PEI !!! I just hacked into Nataschia's blog!!! Anyone who knows me knows this is quite normal....watch your facebook Nataschia! I am hear in Vineland with N for a few days to visit. I just arrived last night and we stayed up till the wee hours talking about what we love the most - photography! So while she was in dreamland, I got back up and hacked into her blog, well she left it open...life lesson #1, don't leave stuff open around me, I may write and photograph and have a laugh to myself. I always wanted to be a guest blogger and now I am!!! **

Grace Ormonde. I heart Grace Ormonde I heart Nataschia. Oh wait the post is about Grace Ormonde. I arrived at Natashia's last night and one of the first things I noticed in her beautiful studio was that she has the new book "being in love never goes out of style" by Grace Ormonde. I kinda freaked and wasn't secretly jealous. I screamed. I was jealous. Then I opened it to find that Grace had signed the booked personally to Nataschia. Ummmmm excited & freaking out much? Nataschia explained that Grace Ormonde was at the Park Hyatt but she had a previous commitment with NILMDTS and Nataschia being the wonderful, amazing women of her word, hadn't rescheduled to go to the party in Toronto. This book is full of amazing imagery and wonderful words. Grace Ormonde has been a very amazing, influential person in the wedding world, in my world. The minute it was released I wanted it, and they are not yet shipping to Canada. So today we may venture across the border for a little bit. I may see if I can find one, and a purse. A Grace Ormonde Book & a purse. Oh my.

I met Matt & Christine for the very first time the day of this session. That, however, was not the first time I had heard about them, or had talked about them. Matt is the son of my sweet friend Jeannie, who is the sister of my home girl Sue Ann. I love this whole family. You know when I talk about how life brings people into my path for a reason. Well this family was definitely brought in my path for a reason. I feel like I have known them all my whole life! Christine & Matt were absolutely, completely as sweet as they were talked about and I could see the love in their eyes. It was like those cartoon hearts would shoot out of their eyes when they looked at each other. I LOVE THOSE CARTOON HEARTS!!! I cannot wait till they shoot out of my eyes!!!

We did the session in the Distillery District in Downtown Toronto which I photographed last summer with a couple and fell totally in love with. The buildings, and area makes it feel like my own little playground. I am sad that I do not get to photograph Christine & Matt's wedding this summer as I am booked Friday & Saturday on PEI the weekend that they get married in Toronto.

I can only send them love and happiness for their big day & for the rest of their lives!

Well look at this little Spicy Tomato!!! Stacey was a gorgeous bride/friend that did an Empower the Dress shoot with me in Varadero. We had her new husband and brother in law along for the help, bodyguards, and a few cold drinks. Thank Goodness we had a "Tim" around or we would have had crowds of locals looking like Stacey was a model or maybe a famous person from Hollywood! I cannot wait to create a giant album with these images!

What a beautiful girl with a flower in her hair!
