A sweet Island girl in a sweet city. Enter Stephanie to Ottawa. It seems like yesterday that I heard Stephanie was moving to Ottawa from Prince Edward Island to continue her career with the federal government. Ottawa is a city filled with opportunity and fun. Enter Dave to Stephanie’s world. I’m sure David was/is thinking that he is the luckiest man on earth, and I am sure Stephanie is thinking the same. They are a sweet pair of love.

Stephanie was such beautiful bride, with her champagne coloured dress. Elegant and gorgeous. It is always a sweet moment to capture the reaction when people see a bride for the first time. It’s magical. David walked into the courtyard and as he stood there so filled with anticipation, Stephanie walked toward him and grabbed his hand, he turned around and they hugged sharing a moment unique to them. ‘First looks’ are so amazing! These are the minutes when the bride and groom take a few moments before the wedding to meet and to have an intimate moment/experience before everyone else sees them during the ceremony. Stephanie’s eyes sparkled when she saw David for the first time this day. I may have seen a little tear or two happen from both of them.

Being a part of such an amazing wedding day always puts my career choice into perspective. I am very lucky that I have made this career path available to myself. Seeing people in love, what else more would I want?
