This couple, their families are just all the loveliest people. They were all so sweet, and so warm and happy for Shelley & Matt it made me smile so big. Shelley’s father was just a little bit sappy which reminded me so much of my dad.
This wedding was carefully designed and created with love. I love finding out about little details that were a part of the wedding day that were so special. Shelley shared with me one of her favourite details was that her bouquet was wrapped in a piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress and lace from her mother’s veil (her something old) and had her grandmother’s – who passed away this year – wedding band attached to it (her something borrowed).
Shelley & Matt’s Wedding song was ‘Brighter than Sunshine’ by Aqualung. Matt had listened to this song on a rainy drive back to Charlottetown after visiting Shelley in Fredericton for their first date and felt it described his feelings for her perfectly. I would have to say that these two lovebirds knew very early on that they were going to be married.
